Soviet Military Uniform Codes
Soviet military sizes used a combined code: chest half-measurement plus height range (e.g. 48-3 = 96 cm chest, 170–176 cm height). This converter shows the chest size component, which determines the jacket's primary fit.
US Military Sizing
US military uniforms use a similar dual system — chest in inches plus height. A Soviet 50-3 is roughly equivalent to a US Army size 40 Regular.
